I was at the mall a few weeks ago, and Forever 21 had this pastel, jewel-tone, 20s look going on. As my idea grew, however, it became a 50s, Southern piece.

So the story? This girl suffers from the weight of her sins. She is psychologically disparaged and suspicious of the world around her. From there you may decipher and decide as your subconscious leads.

This doesn't reflect my personal values or problems, just the turmoil in my mind...

What is behind the curtain? It looks like a rooftop but I can't tell.

The only thing I would suggest improvement on is that her eyes are somewhat high on her head. Everything else looks really good though. ^^

hey very nice :D I'm really enjoying the cg. It's done well to that light coming through look. The shadows could be more prominent but it all depends on how the bright the room she is in. The texture on the curtains is very nice too, reminds me of linen, overall very good sense of whats in your picture :D

Yeah, that's the shingles of the downstair's rooftop. From there I just kinda lost inspiration.

I tried to fix that...

I really wanted to get the light from the window right, so I didn't pay attention enough to the darker shadows that should emphasize that... That should have been fixed in the lineart process.

This looks nice. the details are good but I think there might be a little too much light. It kinda messes up the line art. But other than that it looks very nice! I like the coloring! Great job. :D
